 abstract={Среди армянских национальных, общественных и политических деятелей начала ХХ века своей патриотической деятельностью выделяется Погос Нубар-паша. Он родился в 1851 г. в Константинополе. Будучи сыном премьер-министра Египта Нубара-паши, он получил европейское образование и начал свою карьеру во Франции, позже продолжил трудовую деятельность в Египте. Погос Нубар-паша сыграл значительную роль в национальной жизни армян Египта. Он был основателем и пожизненным почетным президентом Всеобщего армянского благотворительного союза. В 1912 г. католикос всех армян Геворг Пятый назначил его главой Армянской национальной делегации в Европе. Вплоть до 1921 года он боролся за справедливое решение Армянского вопроса. С его помощью французскому правительству удалось создать Восточный (Армянский) легион. После Первой мировой войны Погоса Нубар вел переговоры практически со всеми архитекторами Версальской системы и обосновал требования армян. Among the Armenian national, public and political figures of the early 20th century, Poghos Nubar Pasha stands out with his patriotic activities. He was born in 1851 in Constantinople. As the son of Egyptian Prime Minister Nubar Pasha, he received a European education and began his career in France, later continuing his labour activities in Egypt. Poghos Nubar Pasha played a significant role in the national life of the Armenians of Egypt. He was the founder and lifetime honorary president of the General Armenian Benevolent Union. In 1912, the Catholicos of all Armenians, Gevorg the Fifth, appointed him head of the Armenian National Delegation in Europe. Until 1921, he fought for a fair solution to the Armenian Question. With his support, the French government managed to create the Eastern (Armenian) Legion. After the First World War, Poghos Nubar conducted negotiations with almost all the architects of the Versailles system and substantiated the demands of the Armenians.},
