 abstract={В период Геноцида армян физическое истребление сопровождалось полным разрушением городских и сельских поселений, а также массовым уничтожением армянских религиозно-культурных памятников. К этому делу были привлечены различные государственные структуры и широкая общественность. Однако армия сыграла ключевую роль в массовых убийствах и уничтожении армянского населения, особенно в прифронтовых поселениях Ван, Битлис, Муш, Сгерд, Эрзрум, Ерзнка и близлежащих поселениях. Цель данной статьи — на основании различных документов и свидетельств представить причастность османской армии в разрушениях армянских поселений и отдельных районов, которые, как правило, сопровождались нанесением ударов по армянским исторически-культурным памятникам. Уничтожение армянских следов как государственная необходимость, является частью программы геноцида младотурок, осуществление которой было зарезервировано в первую очередь для армии. During the Armenian Genocide, the physical extermination of the Armenians was accompanied by total destruction of urban and rural areas, as well as by mass destruction of the Armenian cultural and religious monuments. Various state institutions and the great part of the nation were involved in these actions. However, the army played a key role in the massacres and extermination of the Armenian population, especially in the frontline settlements of Van, Bitlis, Mush, Sgherd, Erzurum, Yerznka and other nearby settlements. This article aims at presenting the involvement of the Ottoman army in the destruction of Armenian settlements and separate regions, which, as a rule, were accompanied by targeting Armenian historical and cultural monuments. Based on various documents and evidences, the article raises two issues: elimination of Armenian traces as part of the Young Turks’ genocidal program, the implementation of which was reserved primarily to the army.},
